The PolySteel piping
system is a highly cost effective solution for the transmission
of fluid under high pressure.
PolySteel is a composite pipe incorporating the strength of steel with
the flow characteristics and application properties of high density
polyethylene (HDPE)
PolySteel can operate at very high pressure and allow the quick movement
of
large volumes of fluid otherwise not possible with a poly only piping
system.
PolySteel piping rigidity during operation is similar in characteristic
to steel
pipelines and enables the use of standard steel pipe restraints.
PolySteel maintains the full applications characteristics of HDPE for
the
transportation of fluid such as water, chemical and slurry.
For abrasive fluids the PolySteel liner can be easily replaced and still
maintaining
the integrity of the pipeline and extend its life with significant
replacement savings
in cost and operation downtime.
PolySteel piping can be rotated in situ to extend the life of the
internal liner
in the case of abrasive fluid.
The steel outer casing protects the HDPE lining from damage during
installation
and in operation.
The steel outer casing of Polysteel can be protective coated or
manufactured
from stainless steel to combat corrosively aggressive environments such as
sea spray.
PolySteel installation is more typical of steel pipeline procedures.
PolySteel piping systems are highly flexible in design and usually
manufactured
to a customers specification and end use application.
Duraduct as the supplier of PolySteel systems is the manufacturer but
can also provide the services of an onsite construction crew trained in
the installation
of the PolySteel piping system.
Duraduct as the manufacturer supports its piping product from design
through to installation.
PolySteel is manufactured in Australia by Duraduct
Duraduct is an Australian owned and operated company.
